Prime Minister Jean Castex announced this afternoon that from Monday 14th March a Vaccination Pass will no longer be required to enter venues where it is currently mandatory. This includes classes at the Centre de Loisirs, group meetings and social events such as the upcoming Quiz Night on 9th April. Passes remain mandatory for the talk on Pest Control tomorrow and classes next week.
However, health pass requirements will remain in place in medical and care settings such as hospitals and care homes. This means that it is possible to present a negative Covid test result from the last 24 hours instead of vaccination or recovery documents.
Masks will no longer be obligatory “anywhere where they are still required.” This means that they will be optional in all indoor settings, including, schools. However, masks will still be mandatory in public transport and medical or care-related spaces such as hospitals.
