Starting in September 2022, we shall be offering a greater variety of French language courses ranging from Absolute Beginners through to Advanced level classes.  Enrolment 2nd September; Classes begin 13th September

You must be a member of ACFAA to join our language courses.

French classes are held in the Centre de Loisirs, Route de Bretou, 24500 Eymet on Tuesdays during the academic terms (subject to availability of places).

Term times

Information for Students and Conditions of Enrolment

1. Classes are held at the Centre de Loisirs, Route de Bretou, Eymet every Tuesday. The academic term commences on 13th September and continues until early June the following calendar year.
2. There is a charge of € 10 for the year.
3. Anyone enrolling for a language class must be in a position to attend a full academic year (September to June) without interruption (excepting unforeseen or exceptional circumstances e.g. illness).
4. With the tutor’s agreement, students who have regularly attended a class throughout the previous full year may enrol for the same course at the end of their final term (late May/early June).
5. Enrolment for everyone, except continuing students (see 4 above), commences at the ACFAA Registration Evening on 2nd September. Enrolment must be in person. No request to enrol for a class will be considered before the Registration Evening.
6. For 10 days following the Registration Evening members who were unable to attend in person may enrol provided that places are available (by emailing the Language Co-ordinator).
7. A student may enrol for more than one class provided that there is a place available on their second choice course after enrolment in person has finished and places have subsequently been allocated to email requests (as in 6 above). The maximum number of courses that a student can undertake is two.
8. If you are unable to attend a lesson please inform your tutor beforehand.
9. Any student who fails to attend three consecutive lessons without informing their tutor beforehand will forfeit their place, which will be offered to the person at the head of the waiting list.
