About us

ACFAA’s aim is the promotion of cultural life and well being in the communities of Eymet and surrounding communes. Its objective is the development of activities that build community rapport.  Membership is open to everyone.

In addition we work to enrich the local community by collaborating with Eymet’s Mairie and other partners on local projects.

Established in 1992 as the Association Culturelle Franco-Anglaise d’Aquitaine (ACFAA) we are run by a team of volunteers.  The Association offers a wide range of activities in the fields of culture (art, atelier, craft, photography, gardening, history, music, dance etc) and wellness, as well as language classes and events for members within the local community.

On the occasion of our 25 years anniversary, then Committee member Louise Lundgren produced a series of video Yearbooks that celebrated and showcased key events and activities of the Association over that period.  An additional video, produced by Steve Lack, was published in 2022 in conjunction with our 30th anniversary.  These videos are available online and can be accessed by following the link below.
