Enrolment 5th September 2024; Classes begin 10th September 2024 and continue until June 2025. English classes are held in the Centre de Loisirs, Route de Bretou, 24500 Eymet on Tuesdays during the academic terms (subject to availability of places).
You must be a member of ACFAA to join our language courses.
Term Dates
Language courses are held in 5 blocks of 6 weeks, commencing in September and finishing in June. These term dates fit around the French academic year as specified for Zone A of France, which includes the Dordogne.

Beginners English (EN01)
Time: 15.15 – 16.15
Tutor: Lesley Farage
- Understand and use very basic expressions.
- Introduce yourself and ask others about personal details.
- Interact simply if the other person helps by speaking slowly and clearly.
- Understand frequently used expressions in areas such as shopping, family, employment, etc.
- Simply describe immediate needs.
Intermediate English (EN02)
Time: 13.00 – 14.00
Tutor: Lesley Farage
- Understand frequently used expressions in areas such as shopping, family, employment, etc.
- Describe the issues of immediate need in simple terms.
- Understand the essential content of concrete or abstract topics in a complex text, including a technical discussion in his specialty.
- Communicate with a degree of spontaneity and fluency such that a conversation with a native speaker would not contain tension neither for one nor the other.
- Express yourself clearly and in detail on a wide range of subjects, express an opinion on a subject current affairs and explain the advantages and disadvantages of different possibilities.
