Enrolment will take place on the 3rd September 2026 with classes starting on the 15th September 2026 and continuing until May 2027. English classes are held on a Tuesday at the Centre de Loisirs, Route de Bretou, 24500 Eymet during the academic terms (subject to availability of places).
You must be a member of ACFAA to join our language courses.
Term Dates 2025/26
Language courses are held in five blocks of between 4-6 weeks, commencing in September and finishing at the end of May. These term dates fit around the French academic year as specified for Zone A of France, which includes the Dordogne.

English Beginners
Day: Tuesday
Time: 13.45 – 15.00
Tutor: Jane Dunn
- Understand and use very basic expressions.
- Introduce yourself and ask others about personal details.
- Interact simply if the other person helps by speaking slowly and clearly.
- Understand frequently used expressions in areas such as shopping, family, employment, etc.
- Simply describe immediate needs.
English Improvers/Advanced
Day: Tuesday
Time: 13.45 – 15.00

- Understand frequently used expressions in areas such as shopping, family, employment, etc.
- Describe the issues of immediate need in simple terms.
English Conversation
Day: Tuesday
Time: 15.15 – 16.15

This class is designed for members to practise their English.
A number of tables with maximum six members per table and a host will discuss topics for an hour.
The table host decides when the subject has been exhausted and moves on to another topic allowing all participants the chance to speak.
