Claire Riley’s Monday morning Stretch and Shape classes quickly became popular with members when they started in 2023.

She leads two indoor exercise sessions providing low impact routines to tone and strengthen muscles and maintain general fitness.

With almost forty years’ experience as a fitness trainer, teaching step, boxercise, aerobics and providing one to one fitness programmes for individuals, Claire offers a choice of two levels:-

Level 1 starts at 10h30 and lasts for 45 minutes. This class provides a gentle stretch and movement workout for those wanting to start a regular fitness routine or for those with less mobility who would like to improve circulation and gently tone muscles. Chairs will be provided if required.

Level 2 starts at 11h30 and lasts for 45 minutes. This level is aimed at those who already have a regular fitness regime and incorporates a more energetic workout and floor exercises. Participants will require their own floor mat.

For both levels, Claire recommends wearing loose, comfortable clothing, trainers, and bringing a hand towel and a bottle of water.

The classes take place at La Gare, in Eymet.
