President’s Christmas Message – December 2025

Dear Members

As the year draws to a close and the Christmas season approaches, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your continued support to ACFAA.

Our Language Tutors, Group Leaders, Conversation Group Volunteers and Committee Members, who generously give their time to the Association, are now having a well-earned rest.

Through their dedication, they have created welcoming spaces for learning, connection and personal growth.  Their commitment makes a real difference to the lives of many and for that we should be grateful for all that they do.

On behalf of the Committee, I thank you, our members, for your enthusiasm and participation.  Your involvement brings our activity groups, language learning programs and social events to life and gives true meaning to our mission to support the community.

This past year, our fundraising events have raised a considerable amount of money and enabled us to support a number of local charities; the October Rose breast screening program, the Alzheimer’s Association France.  Secours Populaire in Eymet and Resto du Coeur in Miramont, both of whom provide vital support to the families that depend on their help.

We are truly grateful for your support, compassion and generosity.

What we have achieved together would not be possible without the collective spirit that defines our Association.

On behalf of the Committee, I wish you and your loved ones a joyful Christmas and a peaceful New Year filled with health, happiness and new opportunities.

We look forward to continuing this journey together in the coming year.

With my warmest thanks and best wishes.

Claire Riley, President, ACFAA Association
