Line Dancing Anniversary

Line Dance group celebrates 20th anniversary

One of ACFAA’s longest running weekly groups marked its 20th anniversary at the end of the 2025/26 season.

Christine Etches, who founded the group in 2006, is still a regular attendee.  Current group leaders – Polly Fellows and Caro Hartridge – took the opportunity at the last session to thank her and present her with a lovely flower arrangement.

Claire Riley, ACFAA President, said: “We’re grateful to Christine for setting up the group all those years ago and are so happy that it’s still going today.

“We all thank Polly and Caro as well for their weekly efforts to keep us all fit and smiling.  A lot of work goes into organising the dances and demonstrations that the group does and great camaraderie is had by all each week.”

The ‘Agnac Crazy Stompers’ meet on Wednesday mornings between 9-12 at the main village hall next to the Mairie at Agnac.  The group has around 70 regular participants.
