The 2026/27 year began with a bustling Open Evening on 3rd September, attended by more than 300 members – new and returning.

ACFAA continues to review and develop what it offers, this year enhancing its French and English lessons, as well as adding a brand new beginners Spanish class.

A new weekly interest group – Health and Vitality – has also been added to the calendar.

Plus, a full and varied diary of events for the year has been planned by the Social Committee and is already well under way.

President Claire Riley said: “Thanks to donations made at our drinks bar, we collected 50 € which will be put towards our upcoming annual collection for Octobre Rose“.

“I would also like to thank those extra volunteers who helped with setting up and clearing up after the event.”

ACFAA also attended the day-long Eymet Forum of Associations meeting on 6th September which was well attended and attracted a further number of renewed memberships.
